No. ConvertGeoData converts vector-to-vector and raster-to-raster. Cross-type conversion (e.g., Shapefile to GeoTIFF) is not supported as these are fundamentally different data types.

Yes. You can upload all Shapefile components (.shp, .dbf, .shx, .prj) individually or as a ZIP archive. We automatically detect and associate related files.

File size limits depend on your plan: Free plan supports up to 50 MB, Pro plan up to 500 MB, and Business plan up to 5 GB per conversion.

Free users get 5 conversions per month. Pro plan includes 200 conversions, and Business plan includes 2,000 conversions per month. Guest users (no account) are limited to 5 conversions per day.

Yes. We automatically detect the coordinate reference system from .prj files (Shapefile), embedded metadata (GeoJSON, GeoTIFF, KML), and other format-specific sources. If we can't detect the CRS, you can manually assign one using our EPSG code search.

Yes. During conversion, you can select any target EPSG coordinate reference system. We use the PROJ library for accurate coordinate transformations. Some output formats (KML, GeoJSON, GPX) require WGS 84 (EPSG:4326) and we handle this automatically.

Yes! Basic conversions are free with no account required. Create a free account for up to 5 conversions per month. Upgrade to Pro ($12/month) or Business ($39/month) for higher limits and API access.

Yes. API access is available on Pro and Business plans. You can generate API keys from your account settings and use our REST API to programmatically convert geospatial data.

Yes. All data transfers are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Your uploaded files are processed on our servers and automatically deleted within 24 hours. We never share your data with third parties or use it for any purpose other than performing the requested conversion. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Uploaded files and conversion results are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing. We do not retain copies of your data after this period.

No. We never use your uploaded data for training machine learning models, analytics, or any purpose other than the requested format conversion.
